Calico Cleaning LLC

Terrible experience with this company. Manager for our South Haven rental property had hired this company, not me. But, over the course of this summer, we had consistently sub-par performance. Beds consistently not made properly (missing blankets, queen-size sheets on twin beds, twin-size on queen, etc), lipstick and make-up smeared pillow-cases left on beds that were supposed to be ready for next renters, no toilet paper installed in bathrooms, excessive sand on floors, missing kitchen items (such as glasses, silverware) not reported to manager as missing, missing towel sets not reported to manager as missing, lights and fans left on, furniture placed in assorted placements that were not original, etc.

We had to clean up after these cleaners, sort out the closets full of misc. linens and blankets that were stuffed in there, sort out the kitchen cabinets, replace toilet...

I used Calico for a year to clean our vacation rental in South Haven and never had a cleaning complaint from a guest. They also provides handyman, snow removal, and anything else you might need for a vacation rental. Highly recommend them.

We used this company several weeks this summer, we were given a list of general cleaning guidelines , many of the basics were not completed, crumbs and sand left on the floor, food left under toasters, placemats never wiped and beds were often left without top sheets or sheets would come back after their laundry service severely wrinkled and would need to be washed again by us.

Found ourselves following behind their cleaning staff to finish what was suppose to be on their basic cleaning list, we like to have our units looking clean and fresh for next guests and take pride in our properties .

We were told to please let them know if we would like any other things done, when we made suggestions, we were threatened staff would quit and Manager Kathy somehow thought we were the cause of the basic cleaning jobs to not be done correctly week after week.
