We have been using Burns in the Kitchen for 3 weeks now as a private chef client, and are, overall, very pleased. Here is a comprehensive review:
- [ ] Food quality and ingredients: Excellent. They select the least toxic ingredients possible and it’s clear everything is fresh. They make everything gluten-free, dairy free, soy free, and only cook with coconut oil or avocado oil (some of these may be a drawback for some, but we have some allergies so it’s great for us). A possible drawback is they don’t serve pork at all. They do however, make delicious turkey sausage (for turkey at least) and do a lot of great things with grass-fed beef.
- [ ] Flavor: surprisingly good. I don’t know how, but they make a lasagna that is amazing. Their culinary ability definitely shines in many of the dishes. Though they are making “healthy” versions of common dishes and comfort foods,...
