Bundle of Joy Goochland

Bundle of Joy is where my son and my step son grew up. Kelley conducted my original tour of the school. It was a great place for my children to be able to learn the necessary social skills as well as the academic skills for school and surviving in life. They became part of my extended family. I keep in touch with the past teachers that both of my sons had. I can't imagine finding a better school to help your child grow and develop.

My 5 year old granddaughter went to Bundle of Joy Centerville for over a year. We recently had to remove her due to an incident that happened to her while at Bundle of Joy. She was kissed on the mouth by a little boy in her school and also asked to pull her pants down for him to kiss her there as well. Obviously concerned, we went to the school the next morning after learning of this assault, we were told by Kelly that this "is very common and happens all the time", basically, not a big deal. Common sense would say otherwise, however, we went the extra step and contacted her pediatrician who told us that is NOT common for that age group. I also read extensively online about this subject for this age group and again, NOT NORMAL. Frustrated that Kelly refused to even take this seriously, we thought removing her was the best thing to do. Astonishingly my daughter...

I currently have two little ones at Bundle of Joy Goochland. After starting at a Church day care (they shut down - but we loved) and then moving to a local daycare company (that had constant turnover), we landed on BOJ. This has been the best of both worlds! Individual feel that we wanted with the stability of a company that has been doing this for 40 years. The most impressive thing I have seen is the lack of turnover of staff. Its amazing how many people have been there for years and a former employee from 10 years ago, recommended the place. I could not imagine being anywhere else.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Bundle of Joy in Goochland. Our daughter started going there a year and a half ago and not only has she learned so much but she has come out of her shell. The teachers are great, the classroom/learning style is wonderful and all of the staff have been a joy. If you are looking for a preschool, I would highly recommend them.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with this company not only as a teacher and administrator but also as a parent. I've enjoyed my time with the staff and admin at this location. They are very nice, professional, and they provide a fun and caring environment for the children. My 2 children have been adjusting well to their new classrooms and love their teachers and classmates. I highly recommend this child development center to anyone looking for great care for their children.

Unfortunately, my experience is not the same as other reviewers. I have been a patron of the daycare for 8 years and I have seen it go from a great family environment to pure business and no emotional support for the little ones over the past 2 years. Website suggestion: Please include information for how to get in touch with management to discuss current issues.

Bundle of Joy has been a real blessing to our family. Our little one is happy there and we know that she is well cared for. The teachers have been absolutely wonderful and have gone the extra mile in transitioning our daughter to daycare. The leadership and staff have also been great and we feel at ease knowing we are sending our daughter to such a great place.!

Bundle of Joy is the 1st choice in your child care needs. My son has attended this daycare since he was 1 1/2 years old, he still loves it as much as the first day. I love getting updates on how is day was. The staff, employees, and administrators are amazing!

My daughter has been going here for 2 years and she has a blast everyday. The staff is very caring and provides great structure and routine for my daughter. They have a wide variety of activities and keep things interesting for the kids. Some kids when they get dropped off at daycare may be upset and cry when the parents leave, but my daughter actually will cry and say she wants to go to school if I tell her she has to stay home! If you are looking for a great daycare....this is your place!
