Bundle of Joy Goochland

I have a friend who's children were going here, and they were awful to her children! Her son was bullied, the teachers were so mean, and after several attempts to talking to the director and teachers nothing was done! So finally having to take her son out of the daycare and her other two children were still there they called her and told her the others had to leave as well. This is not how you should run a business especially when dealing with children! Unacceptable! Please do not take your babies here!

Horrible horrible care provided for my school age child. He was bullied in the beginning and told me every time he would tell the teacher she would just tell him to go elsewhere. When finding out it was a “higher up” employee’s child I then realized why. I confronted the mother and the issue was dismissed and she was defensive.I was told the issue was taken care of. The bullying issue never stopped. My child told me he was pushed to the ground and kicked by this kid but the teacher didn’t see and when he called for her she “didn’t hear” him. That this kid had a “team” and the majority of the class was on his “side” and they would call him and his one friend names. I then had an issue with him screaming horribly in the morning begging me not to take him there, that he did not want to go to school that he was “so unhappy” at FIVE YEARS old. I've never written a Google review before, but love the facility so much, I thought I'd give it a try! I have 2 young boys at Bundle in Manakin Sabot and they LOVE IT! The staff (teachers and admin) truly care about the kids and I get LOTS of pictures throughout the day. It's comforting to see what they are doing while I'm at work. Also, the facility is VERY nice (lots of cameras for security, fingerprint system to log kids in and out, and a keypad at the front door). And, my oldest loves playing in the pool during summer camp. I certainly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a fun, caring, and safe environment for their kids...Two thumbs up!

My son goes to Bundle and he is in their Preschool Gro room, and he has learned so much from his amazing teachers, it’s outstanding. The ladies at the front desk are so friendly and welcoming, and they are very helpful with any question or concerns we have. It is by far the only place we’d even think about bringing our son. We love it here.

My 4 year old daughter has attended bundle of joy since she was an infant. She has made several friends and been able to take music classes, soccer classes, and go swimming in the summer. In addition to establishing structure to her day, she has academic and art activities daily, while she is learning how to socialize with her peers. As a parent, I’ve been pleased with the staff and teachers throughout the different classes because they truly seem to enjoy teaching and caring for my child. Nothing is more satisfying to a parent than feeling confident your child is in good hands.

I highly recommend BOJ in Manakin. My son loves his teachers/friends/office staff. A few of his favorites are their large playground, soccer shots, and their annual summer camp that entails jump house, swimming, & the ice cream truck. A few of my favorites are the welcoming and kind staff, strong pre-k education, seasonal picture day, and the hi mama app that keeps me up to date frequently during the day. I highly recommend this daycare for your little ones!

My kids have attended for many years. BOJ Goochland provides excellent care and their prices are competitive. My kids like it there very much!

Wonderful daycare! Teachers and staff are very attentive to the needs of the children and the parents. Rates are very reasonable. After-school and summer programs are top notch! They even have two swimming pools for the kids to use during the summer (Depth varies by age experience in the water).
Can’t recommend him highly enough.

We have had nothing but a positive experience at Bundle of Joy. They really do a great job and this is reflected in how much our children love going to school there.
