Bundle of Joy Atlee

I have worked in the childcare field for about ten years at various companies and no company has helped me succeed like this one. They give you the tools and help get your the education to make anything happen. I always feel like I can go to the higher ups with any type of question and they help me figure it out. I love going to work everyday knowing that I am surrounded by people that love what they do and it shows by how happy the children are everyday.

**Update to my review from last year to give a more accurate refelction of how it is now. Increasing from 1 to 3 stars due to some improvements made. First, huge shout out to Ms Jill and Ms Diamond. They actually deserve 5 stars for truly caring for my son and always looking out for him. Can't give 5 stars to the center overall because we've had situations in the past, as well as things I've observed in general at this daycare that could have been prevented if there was better supervision over the kids at times. Communication isn't always the best(sometimes messages go unanswered and don't really know what all my son does all day some days). Some days he gets home really dirty and I don't even know how that happens because he never gets that dirty at home. On a positive note, they finally got direct deposit in place so that's a huge step for mankind that prevents unnecessary billing...

Great environment; fun teachers and staff! BOJ is an awesome child care development! I enjoy working here being able to exercise and give my knowledge, experience of working with children especially the infants. It’s a lot of “Bundles of Joy” 🤩!

Im new to working with children professionally but I really couldn't have asked for a better place to jumpstart my career in the field of education, I have been able to showcase what I've learned in education classes by making interpersonal connections with students and fellow teachers here at bundle. I know I can get support from any of the staff just by asking for it and while there have been challenges ( as with all jobs) I feel like I've been equipped with the know-how to overcome daily obstacles with help from management and coworkers

Updating my review from 3 years ago:
Both my sons have enjoyed their time at BOJ Atlee. One has attended since 17 months and is now 6 while the other has attended since 7 weeks old and is now 4. We wouldn't choose anywhere else!

My toddler aged son is learning so much. He’s been taking so much more and is so happy here. Everyone is super friendly and great to work with. I can’t wait to bring our baby here in the Spring.

The director loves all the kids as they were her own. She has a lot of experience in the industry and knowledge when it comes to someone taking care of children. I wouldn’t want my child in another center.

As a parent with a child who has attended Bundle of Joy from toddler to school age, I can’t say enough about how much they have done for my child. He has excelled in all levels and I can only say it’s because we included BOJ into our child’s life and education.

As a parent and staff member of Bundle of Joy for a few years now, the impeccable care for the children, as well as staff from the owners down to the parents has astonished me. The feeling of "home" comes to mind, it does not feel like a corporate facility, because it isn't, it is family owned and you feel that from the bottom to the top. My son has attended bundle since he was a toddler and is now in KG, I know that without his fantastic teachers here at BOJ, he would not be excelling in his KG classes.

They were really great when we started but then that director left and everything went downhill. They were always out of ratio and I wasn’t receiving injury notifications anymore. We lost clothes and bedding that they didn’t send home. We tried to be patient while they tried to hire more staff but it never really did get better. I had emailed several times about a balance on my account from months ago that didn’t make sense, but never got a reply. Then suddenly I got an email saying pay the balance and a bunch of additional late fees or don’t come back. When I called to again ask what the balance was for, they never could tell me and just asked if I was saying I wanted to withdraw. I even asked to talk to the financial person, but they wouldn’t look into it and dismissed us. When my older son found out he didn’t have to go to aftercare there anymore he was so excited. My kids had been going to this location for over a year. Since the previous director left about 5 months ago the quality has greatly deteriorated. There have been mornings and afternoons when my 1 year old was in a classroom with 15 other children and one teacher, a pretty regular occurrence during the summer. One afternoon I was picking him up from his class and another child was ripping lumps out his hair. We are fairly certain that this was not the first that this happened. The last straw was when we were charged extra ‘service’ fees. When we asked for more details about the fees we were refused any answers and were told to pay up or our kids could not to come back to the school, so they didn’t.
As reiterated in another post the cleanliness of the 2 year old room leaves a lot to be desired.
This is not a safe environment for your children and the administration lacks...
