Building Kidz of Gilbert

Amazing place with a great staff

I love building kidz and the teachers there are absolutely wonderful in the infant room. My baby adores them and is always happy getting dropped off and getting picked up. The only thing is I wish there were more updates throughout the day since they do not have video access. In forms of pictures or even just notes such as “—— played stacking cups with ——“ “——- learned this in music class today” things like that.

Pulled out my child due to the following reasons:
1) Building Kids bought out the daycare my daughter was already enrolled in. During the introduction, the new owner started with “don’t look at the reviews from our other location”. Which immediately let me know they have had issues they do not plan to fix.

2)As a working parent I was not happy to find out they close for one or two weeks at Christmas, and the week of Labor Day. Upon taking over they gave a calendar of closed days for a year in advance but FORGOT July 3rd and posted a sign at the door one week in advance, other holidays always had a sign up 3-4 weeks before the actual holiday, we were still expected to pay with a one-week notice.

3)They talk about nutrition on their website.. but the same week they increased prices to $340 a week for a two-year-old was the same week they gave her goldfish...

As a busy working mom, finding the right daycare is always a big priority. You hear horror stories about understaffed, overcrowded daycare centers. However at Building Kidz of Gilbert, every morning the moment I enter the door with my son, I am greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The daycare is clean, the classrooms are spacious and filled with engaging activities.
What really set Building Kidz apart for me was the dedicated caretakers who not only provided educational supervision, but also showed each child a great deal of affection and empathy. My son loves his daycare teachers so much that he can't wait to get to school every day.
