Didn’t help our son much. We hoped their program could help our son deal with anxiety and super strong objections he had to doing normal things. After 3 months of visits he was pretty much the same as before. Be warned that it is extremely expensive.

Do your research and you'll find their program is not backed by credible evidence, rather is based mostly on speculation and testimonials. For what we paid it was not worth it.

Brain Balance was a wonderful experience for our son and family. He transformed into a more helpful, calm, obedient person and we have less tantrums and problems. He’s not perfect and neither is our family, but I’m very happy with the outcome.

I was desperate when I contacted Brain Balance. My son had struggled in school both academically and with his behavior for many years. He had been suspended numerous times for fighting. Since he completed the program he is a whole new kid. He is loving school now and was even recognized as student of the month for kindness! I have my sweet boy back but most importantly he is so much happier, willing to work hard at school and finally able to make and keep friends.

I have a degree in Psychology. I was sceptecal of the Brain Balance philosophy and the fundamentals of integration of primal reflex. I still have questions about why their process works, but it does work. I can’t say enough about the progress we’ve seen over this last year. Worth every cent.

Staff is great. Everything is great here EXCEPT the cost. They don't except any insurances and it costs about 11,000$ per child, all they have to offer is care credit. Which is a cut throat financing. So unless you have at least 10k just laying around for your child, (which most of us don't) It would be just as efficient to find a great occupational therapist that can do the exact same things with your child, without the costs, and having insurance coverage.

I am amazed at how much my 6-year old son improved after being in Brain Balance for six months. We took him there in desperation for help with his sensory and social issues, as well as his struggles with anxiety. It had gotten to a point with him where he would always say rude things to people who came to the door, strangers at the store, and pretty much anyone who came into close proximity. He used it as a defense mechanism to keep people away. He also didn’t know how to initiate play at school, despite so much effort on my part. He rarely used his imagination and had many of the symptoms of high-functioning autism. He has always been incredibly smart... probably several grades above level actually, but when it came to right brain functioning, he was incredibly weak. I am so excited about this! I had to take a minute and share. Before we started Brain Balance, my son was in a tumbling class, and had been for a couple of years. He really struggled with cartwheels and handstands. I hadn't seen him attempt either of them since we started the program. Well today, his sister was showing me her cartwheels and handstands outside and my son asked me to watch him. To my surprise he did a perfect cartwheel and an almost perfect handstand. I seriously died! That was so hard for him just a few months ago, and now it's no big deal. I LOVE THIS PROGRAM! I can't believe all the progress he's made.
