Brain Balance of Allen & Dallas

Brain Balance has been life changing for our family. Our son was having behavioral issues at home and struggled with reading and writing. He went from not wanting to read a book at all to reading like crazy. He is better able to articulate his feelings and while we still have some work to do in Phase 2, we are confident that we will continue to see improvement because of the improvements we have seen so far. The team at Brain Balance was wonderful and has cared for us so well.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Brain Balance. I wish we would have found them sooner. The program helped our son grow mentally and emotionally tremendously. He finished out the program at age level and even above age level in some areas. His confidence and self esteem improved significantly as well. The staff was always supportive, informative and caring. Brain Balance is a life saver.

We started our journey with Brain Balance a year ago for our 4 year old son and it was the best decision we’ve made!

I knew my son needed addition support because he was having difficulty focusing and we were struggling with some behavior challenges - not your average 3/4 year old struggles.

I wanted an alternative to medication or labeling and that’s when we found brain balance.
A year later and my son’s behavior, confidence, focus, and impulse control has done a complete 180.

Brain Balance Center of Allen has made a substantial impact on my son’s overall functioning. The coaches and staff at the center are excellent at what they do. They’re kind, compassionate and flexible. They understood the issues my son was having and worked diligently on them. Brain Balance did quantitative and qualitative assessment of my son and provided workouts for retraining his brain and reflexes. And after being in the program for 6 months we have seen a marked difference in several areas. We are very thankful, especially to Coach Emily for her personal attention towards my son’s improvement.

Brain Balance has helped me so much with my confidence and overall helped me with school/life skills. All of the coaches are so encouraging, supportive and just the best people. They understand what you are going through and help you as much as they can so that you feel comfortable. Coach Remi, Coach Emily and Coach Charlie are always so kind to everyone and are super easy to have conversations with if you have any questions or concerns. The customer service is always great! I would definitely recommend that everyone should go to this location! You will not be disappointed!

One of the best decisions I have ever made choosing brain balance for my kid. My kid was 4 yr old when he joined. I see lot of improvements in him. He became very independent within 6 months, understanding improved a lot. Emily was very kind and answerable for every question I had. Also she let us know the progress and changes every month on dot. The staff made sure all his sessions were productively used and made him enjoy.

Were do I begin to share the impact BBA has had on not only our son but our family overall.…We started Brain Balance of Allen about 4 months ago after having tried multiple forms of interventions to help our son’s behavior however hit brick walls. As parents we feel embarrassed, isolated as if we are the only ones struggling with an amazing child who others see as a behavior problem.

BBA isn’t just a place we take our son to for support services, it’s a place where we as a family don’t have to feel embarrassed and he is seen as a member of the family. From the owner to the support staff, everyone is invested in your child and family. Our son struggled with aggressive communication both verbally and physically when overwhelmed. His responses were fight/flight more than the average child his age. He saw everything as an attack and very combative when redirected.

There were a number of things we did not truly understand about our son's ADHD. Coming to Brain Balance and working with their team helped us to understand the physical aspects of his challenges, the impact it had on his picky eating and how it contributed to things like forgetfulness, emotional regulation and other aspects we were struggling with. It really helped us to understand what he was going through. I looked for options for ADHD education and assistance but every other place just dealt with medication. He does take medication but this allowed him to develop in other areas that have made his ADHD have less impact on his life. The body and brain are incredibly complex, the team at Brain Balance helped make it less of a mystery and put actions into our daily lives that have helped improve how our son manages his daily life. We had a great experience at brain balance. The staff have been so kind, compassionate, and educational. They know we have a busy lifestyle so they gave us a program that worked with our schedules and budget. My daughter, 3 years old, had areas of development that she was struggling with a little. They were able to help us get her up to speed so now she is able to play with her peers so much easier. She gained about 6 to 12 months of development in a short few months.
