Good people, very nice

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. To give insight on my experience with Bits n' Bytes, a little over 2 weeks ago I was searching for a place relatively close to my home that could repair my PC. I found Bits n' Bytes in the area, and decided to check out the reviews online which were mostly favorable, taking that as a good sign and deciding to take my PC over to them.

I brought my computer in, letting them know my PC wasn't booting up correctly after recently replacing the Motherboard. They told me they could fix the issue for $99(which I'll admit is a reasonable price), and provided me a number that I could use to text them and see the status of my PC repair. Now what I still don't understand, is why I was even given that number in the first place, because it was never utilized. Over the course of the 2 weeks, I texted the number once and never...

I had them install a new SSD into my 27" iMac. I purchased the drive on my own and backed it up so all I needed was for them to simply replace it. I went to the business but they told me I needed an additional part that is needed when upgrading to a SSD for older iMacs....I appreciated this because my computer fan would have just spun at max speed, be annoying, and break sooner without it. I also thought it was nice of them because they easily could have done the work I asked for and then charged me extra down the road for fixing what I didn't know would be an issue; however, before the work began they let me know I had a problem with my plan, showed me which part to get, and then did a great job once I gave them what they needed.

I was not happy with them!!! They tried to charge us for a service that should have been free!!!! I'm wondering how many old people they take advantage of!?! Bad bad review..

Purchased a refurbished laptop here. Excellent product at a very fair price. The laptop included the latest windows and office software and was not cluttered with software rubbish. Sales person showed me what they had, answered questions, no fuss, no muss, no pressure.

TJ and crew stand behind their work completely and stick with their customers until they are totally satisfied. They honor their work and back it up with total integrity. They listen to their customers needs and price range. They are extremely competent and work with each other to find a solution when necessary. The team is sharp, personable, service oriented, and have my highest recommendation!
