My daughter was with Ages and Stages since they were previously Westridge Daycare once she started needing child care and transferred to the new facility when it was built. She loved her time there and I was grateful for the second family that management and staff became for her over the years. I always found that the programs and experiences At Ages & Stages were instructional, creative and fun for the kids. We were very saddened this past year when we had to pull our daughter out of Ages and Stages because we could not get her into a school in that zone. Since then she has not been happy at her new facility while going to half day Kindergarten at Lymburn and has said many times she misses her old daycare. We absolutely love this daycare. We registered our son almost 3 years ago and have nothing but positive comments about the centre. First - the staff - they genuinely enjoy and care for my son. It feels like a second family with how well my son is looked after. He is warmly greeted and hugged when we arrive. The director has always made time to answer our questions about any concerns we have whether it be about a minor issue, child development or helping us navigate the school system. She helps us understand normal child behaviour which helps us adjust our expectations and parenting strategies. The programming at the centre is second to none with a robust and diverse menu plan, yoga, meditation, adventure bus, family potlucks and summer carnivals. I would highly recommend this centre. Ages and Stages offers amazing care from infant through out of school care. My children started when the new center opened in January 2014 and continue to attend. I love the activities provided such as yoga, meditation and music. The teachers and management are enthusiastic and supportive. I love the creative meal plan inspired by different cultures. The children are encouraged to contribute ideas to the meals as well as to the program. As they show interest in an idea or topic, the teachers implement that into the theme for each week or month. The communication from the management team is excellent with newsletters and emails sent regularly. I appreciate the care and attention to providing the best care at the highest standard. I transfered my two children to ages and stages a year ago from another facility and I couldnt be happier and i feel that this was the best decision for my children the staff welcomed us with open arms and made us feel comfortable as soon as we walked in. My childrens transition into the center went really smoothly because of the care and support of the wonderful teachers in each room. My children absolutely love the center, It's very clean, tidy and well taken care of. the teachers have great communication skills and take the time to talk to parents.
