The Goddard School

This school/daycare center is amazing! The owners own both it and one in Colorado Springs. We went to a different center in Thornton when are oldest was a baby and then switched to in home for awhile. We then found ourselves moving to the Springs without connections to in home daycares so we decided to stick to centers. I always call centers that I'm thinking about entering on Thursday afternoons late in the day to see how they answer the phone. I figure if they are friendly late in the day after 4 working days that is a good sign. I called the Colorado Springs school and they were very friendly and always professional. We only lived in Colorado Springs for 9 months before moving to this area. When moving, they asked if we wanted a recommendation for a center. We have had both of our daughters at Goddard over the past year and a half and absolutely love it! The teachers and staff are extremely talented and creative. My husband and I have watched our girls not only grow in their time there, but excel. Returning to work after maternity leave is never easy, but it is so nice to know that our girls are in classes that are challenging and among friends and teachers that they cannot wait to get back to school to see. Our daughter attended Goddard part-time for the past 3 years and it was such a fabulous experience for her. The teachers were excellent role models and it was more than obvious how much all of them - Mr. Jake, Ms. Adrienne, Ms. Claire, Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Kimberly and many others - cared for the kids and worked so hard to make learning fun while also helping them learn how to be kind and respectful. There was always a fun craft or project going on that incorporated various aspects learning, and she was more than adequately prepared to enter kindergarten this year. Our daughter has been attending Goddard for 2-and-a-half years and we love it there. And she loves it too - in fact, when were at the beach on vacation she told us she couldn't wait to get back to see her friends and teachers. The staff is amazing and you can tell they really care about the kids' development. In addition to the great social skills she is learning we are constantly surprised at how her time there has enriched her cognitive abilities - she is always learning new words and singing new songs. And she can count to 20 which is pretty good for a 2 year old! And best of all, at least for me as a worry-wart parent, is that I know she spends her days in a safe and caring environment. We had our child enrolled at Goddard for 2.5 years. We absolutely loved the program, but most of all the teachers and caring staff. We felt like they were a part of our family!
They made our child feel special on a daily basis. In addition to the superior care, our child flourished academically. We are very happy with our experience with this school. We previously had our child enrolled in another "highly regarded" school, only to find out that they did not deliver on their promises and that the teachers had no training/ degrees and did not provide a quality learning environment. We are ecstatic to get daily reports of the curriculum along with pictures of exactly what our child does at the school. The teachers are not only well educated and trained but are warm and nurturing too. The school is very organized and well managed. Our child has grown leaps and bounds in a very short period of time and seems more confident. Goddard school is just another sweet home from home. Its just more than a day care!

We had our 3 yr old son going to Goddard as part of pre-school cum daycare program. Initially he got upset going to school just like any other kid. But it was the staff and teachers in Goddard who made him feel at home. They gave him special attention and care which made him love school.

One special attraction about Goddard school is that we were emailed best moments of our child each day. Midst of work we were worried how our kid would be doing at school, but looking at the best moment pics it almost relaxed us that our son was enjoying the place and having utmost fun and frolic with his classmates and teachers.
