Arizona Smile Center

My family has been going to the Arizona Smile Center for years. We are always treated graciously and professionally by their whole staff. If you need anything done in the dental realm, I can highly recommend their services!

We have been using Arizona Smile Center, formerly Gilbert Dental, for more than 30 years. All three of our children had their adolesent dental care from Gilbert Dental. I had some rough dental care experiences in my teenage years and that experience kept me away from the dentist's chair for more than 20 years. That 20 year hiatis from the dentist was bad for my dental health and I knew it but just could not get myself bto go to the dentist. Then I got to know a dentist in out former town and he was a blessing to me. When we moved he recommended Gilbert Dental because he knew the dentist and his skills. Since that time we have used Dr. Bollwinkel and his staff exclusively. Thanks to them for the great dental care.

My wife and I started going to the Arizona Smile Center (then called the Gilbert Dental Center) in the mid 1990’s after relocating to the area from Boston. Having had our share of both good and not-so-good dentists over the years, it quickly became clear to us that Dr. Bollwinkle and his team were not only good – they were great. Dr. Bollwinkle and Dr. Packer (now retired) took excellent care of our teeth, as well as our son’s, for the next several years until we moved to San Diego in 2006. But the story doesn’t end there.

After trying a number of dentists in the San Diego area, we realized that no one was going to measure up to the expertise, trustworthiness and professionalism of Dr. Bollwinkle; we just didn’t feel comfortable with -- or trusting in -- the local dentists we tried. Recommended by my sister (a 30 year + Gilbert resident) when we moved here in 2010 we found the ASC to be exceptional. Great dentist, fantastic hygienests and Patty and Michelle out front to meet, greet and answer questions. Everyone treated like family. A ***** facility.

I’ve seen Dr. Sloane for 3 crowns since September and he’s done an outstanding job of numbing me each time with no pain what so ever. Two of the teeth were old fillings that had to be drilled out and I never felt a thing. I’ve had issues with past dentists but Dr. Sloane makes sure I’m well taken care of. The staff here is very professional as well as very friendly. I made the right choice in coming to this group.

Everyone at this office is so friendly and helpful. Getting a crown done in the office while you want is so convenient! No more temporaries and coming back later. Love that. Also, I had to reach to them after hours due to a crown that had come loose and was in touch with the doctor on call within minutes! I strongly recommend this dental office!
