It's a pleasure to meet Steve and know that the job is going to get done. Took two days to fix busted pipe. Was not an easy repair. If my pool gives my anymore issues I know who I'll be calling.

I had what looked like yellow surface mold on my guest room ceiling. The Technician, who spent about 20 mins in my house and charged me $400.00, told me that it was probably caused by a faulty thermostat so I had the AC company replace the thermostat, then remediated the ceiling and painted the room. I, subsequently, had a brand new hardwood floor put down which was very expensive. Now I have moisture coming through the hardwood floor. The plumber told me it was due to the O ring on the toilet in the adjacent guest bath. Shouldn't the "technician" have looked into that? Now I have a very expensive remediation coming up. I wouldn't recommend American Leak to anyone. I am a widow and don't have a lot of disposable income, I trusted them.

A praise God moment happened today. And it came via American Leak Detection out of Sarasota.

18 months ago, I had a leak in one of the pipes to the pool. Well Thanksgiving, I noticed that the pool was down and so I filled it up. Friday I saw it was down again, so I turned off the pump and called American Leak Detection.

They came out today, and since the leak is in the same port that it was then, they extended their one year warranty by seven months, and did not charge me for a full leak detection. Only for a service call, which was half the price. They are going to fix it for free even though it is out of warranty. Praise God and His use of American leak detection.

Justin was prompt and very thorough! Showed me exactly where the leak was and walked me through his process! He did a quick inspection of our system and made a recommendation to a small “adjustment”! Didn’t oversell or push but simply made a few comments that were very refreshing and appreciated. Made the fix and everything is back to good! I’ll personally request him if there is a next time!
