My niece works here in the therapy department. She Loves working here... this makes for a wonderful environment to heal. 💚

No phones in the rooms
So if you don't own a cell phone or know how to use one you are stuck for communication and have to go through the nurses station to use one of their phones
Shower rooms are cold and not big enough. Lunch rooms are cold and hallways are cold

My dad had a hip replacement and I went to tour this place out. I was very impressed when I saw a nurse helping a man in a wheelchair, I couldn’t hear what he asked her but she gave him a big hug and comforted him. I continued my tour to continue to see the care and the interaction with the patients as I was being led down each hall way. Dad has been there for a few days and he says they are all very precessional and care! That says a lot. I would recommend this place to any long term or short term for rehabilitation.

Great service and friendly place of business

My husband was staying at the Amarillo Medical Lodge. And he was treated with kindness,respect and I love that it was clean.l would stay there if I was sick. Thank You Staff

Horrible experience. My grandmother wasn't at this place for even two hours before we felt so bad for her we took her out. Staff was condescending and completely apathetic to my grandmothers situation. They were treating her like she was four years old rather than an elder. No one told us the rooms weren't private. Her roommate wanted to keep the room at about 145 degrees, and expected my grandmother to go to bed at 10 every night because that's when she went regularly. If you're looking for
a decent place for your loved one, make sure whatever place you choose has private rooms. When we told them that we were just going to leave, they threatened that they could charge her insurance for the full stay anyway, which presumably is how they trick older people that aren't in their right minds and have no one to speak for them into just staying if i had to guess. I wouldn't recommend...

Gina and Tosha are on the job, very professional, the staff here is actually caring and keep the place running smooth, terrible situations call for quality professional staff - this place has it in spades - prayers to the kind staff who care and keep our loved ones safe, clean, and progressing
