Allure Medical Shelby Township

Recently visited Allure Medical Spa for Ultherapy; I have had 3 Ultherapy treatments over the past 10 years and have found them to be a great alternative to surgical options. The esthetician who performed my treatment, Tammy, was simply superb. Having had this procedure several times, I can say that the attention to detail by the esthetician is what separates good from great. Tammy falls squarely in the great column. I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone considering Ultherapy.

I scheduled an appointment with them a couple weeks ago. The first Botox treatment didn’t work. My second visit they upped the dosage that seemed way too high to me. We discussed they needed to “shock” the muscle and that the next dosage we would cut in half. I scheduled the appointment and on the call I said I want half the dosage like we discussed last time and they said perfect see you tonight.

When I arrived I explained to the tech what the plan was and she was so extremely rude and explained that they would not do it because it “wasn’t enough”. Enough money is what she meant. At the same time she slipped and told me that they aren’t actually using Botox which is the brand they advertise in their special! That is a bait and switch which is highly unethical. Stay away. I definitely will be.

I had my first “smile eye” laser treatment. The esthetician who did my treatment is Tammy. She was very professional, explained the process step by step. This is the first time I’ve had done this so I was nervous. She was supportive and reassuring. She’s truly great!

Wonderful experience from the moment I walked through the doors. Lisa did a great job making me feel very comfortable and at ease. I will definitely be back!!

Edit 2/3/24 - they claim they will give you a call to fix this I but they do not call. Don’t make promises you cannot keep. I will update again if they call me

Would not go here for Botox. Told the nurse my concern areas and was ignored by my request. I’ve been to two other places for Botox and Allure follows their own policies without taking the customer request into account, or asking if they’ve been happy with their previous treatments. I ended up spending more than I normally do for a simple touch up on my forehead lines. They won’t do Botox in forehead lines and claim it will make your eyebrows droop (I’ve never had this issue). Instead they place Botox in areas you may not even need it for an “eyebrow lift” I went in for a follow up and told them I was unhappy. Tammy is so sweet and kind

Allure had charged my card for a down payment for breast augmentation. I decided to not have the surgery. I was worried about getting reimbursed. I spoke with the receptionist who assured me my deposit would be refunded in a timely manner. Happy to say, they kept their word to me, deposit was refunded, all is good. I will continue to use Allure for all my beauty needs!

UPDATE they never did reach out to me. This is Jill Becker. I went to the Shelby location. If I could give zero stars I would. I had lipo on my inner thighs and stomach and breast augmentation in October and was told there was nothing they could do to lift my buttocks and get rid of the sag. On a post op visit in December they told me they could fix the sag with lipo and a fat transfer to my buttocks. Why didn’t I get that answer the first time I don’t know. After the procedure I only had 150 ccs transferred which is 5 oz. To each buttock. Because that is all the fat they could get. I am skinny and had a lot of lipo already. They should have told me back in October I could get the fat transfer instead of being dishonest to me and then this time telling me they could give me the look I wanted. I did NOT get the look I want with 150 cc’s and they should have been upfront...
