My brother recommended A-1 Garage Doors to us for an emergency garage door issue during a storm. We called him close to the end of the workday and assured us that he would fix our door by the end of the night even though it was after hours.
He took care of our issue very efficiently and went above and beyond to make sure everything worked well. We were so worried about having a broken door during the storm, but he took care of it all. We definitely recommend A-1 Garage Doors.

The springs to my garage door broke, snapped in two, and I was not able to open the door. I called Basem on Saturday at 2pm, and he was at my house by 2:20pm....that's fast!!! He took his portable scale and weighed my garage door and determined that the springs I purchased from the last company who serviced my garage were undersized for the weight of my garage door. I had him replace (2) springs for the door that broke, and had him (also) do the other door as well, just so I would not have the same problem in the future. He completed the entire job, 2 garage doors, in under and hour. Cleaned and lubed the mechanical parts, and both garage doors run and work smoothly. I am completely satisfied with his professionalism and workmanship. Basem is very friendly and shows he cares about his work. I highly recommend A-1 Garage Doors Service , and will use him again in the future.

My garage door came off the rails in the morning and couldn't leave house. Called a few places and told me they can't fix it today but tomorrow or the day after. I talked to SMGDS and their technician Mike said he could stop by today. He gave me a better estimate and fixed my garage door the same day. He was professional and knowledgeable. I know who to call next time.

I can’t say enough positive about Mike and his company, A-1 Garage Door Services. Prior to calling, I knew my garage door needed some work and potentially needed to be replaced (almost 30 years old). Mike was able to come out on the same day and assess that I needed some hinges and springs replaced. I could have gotten more time out of the motor but I elected to replace that as well, given its many years of service. Mike completed the entirety of the work all in the same evening, doing so for a fair and reasonable quoted price. He was also very professional and personable, taking the time to answer my questions, explain important details, etc. I definitely would recommend A-1 Garage Door Services to anybody looking to have their garage door either repaired or replaced.

Called Basem and he told me that the opener I had was no longer fixable. I told home what I needed so he said he would be to my home in a couple of hours. When he arrived he explained everything he needed to do. He is very professional. I was was in the construction business for many years and his ability was beyond impressive. He is an honest individual with great work ethics. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs their garage door to work again. Price was not an issue he completely made us feel at ease. Mike came out on a Sunday - no extra charge. He expertly replaced our elderly garage opener and the rubber gasket on the door. The work was quick, professional and fairly priced. Excellent work. I highly recommend.

Tech did an exceptional job fixing our garage door. We were worried we d have to replace the entire door, but instead we only needed to remove the existing spring system, and install torsion springs which was less than third of the cost of replacing the whole door. He was very thorough at explaining everything too, which was appreciated since I don t know much about the mechanics of garage doors. If you re wanting a professional who knows what they re doing, is trustworthy and punctual, we d strongly recommend these fellas.
