Alcala Country Pet Resort

I love Alcala Country Pet Resort because they treat my dog as if it was their own pet. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I love the many training and enrichment sessions they offer. I go out of my way to take my pet here. I highly recommend.

This place is magical for dogs. Kristin takes care of my little dog like she owns her. My dog isn’t afraid at all. And Kristin does a great job every time. And the price is quite reasonable compared to other places that are like prisons for dogs. You will be amazed when you see this place!

My husband and I adopted our sweet boy Beaux in June of 2024. We quickly discovered he would get really overstimulated, really quickly. And while we were researching and training at home as much as we could, we were finding ourselves facing issue after issue or setback after setback. He was reactive to all dogs, and even though his reactivity was that of excitement, we knew that he didn’t have the tools necessary to come face to face with other untrained dogs like him (dogs that were submissive or had good training previously were okay for him to handle). We knew we needed help and were recommended Alcala by another pet parent at the dog park. We set up our orientation as soon as we could and we immediately fell in love with the place. The manager, Courtney, did our orientation and was SO knowledgeable about every single topic we had questions about. I was incredibly nervous to leave...

This place is wonderful. The animals have play time as well as quiet time, and the staff is wonderful. I am so thrilled to have found exactly what I wanted for my dog. I'm very happy with Alcala!

It's been awhile since I've been back to Alcala since losing my pets, the last being Kiku who passed away 2 years ago, Having been referred to Alcala 38 years ago upon my return to California from New York, I had decided not to adopt any more pets. However, after a break of 1-1/2 years, decided I needed another companion to share my love/attention. Six months ago, I adopted a 3 yr. old Shih Tzu & decided to return to Alcala & use their facility as my "go to" fir grooming & boarding again.
Allison did a fantastic job on Momo, grooming her with the expertise I expected, My dogs were groomed by Allison whenever boarded at the facility. I expect to continue to have Alcala back in my pet's life again. Gratefully!

It's a clean, diverse facility with outdoor play area, friendly staff and excellent communication when concerns arise. We wish you were in North Orange County.

Very friendly staff and my pooch loves his play time there. They let me know how he’s doing while I’m away which I really appreciate.
