How many dogs would whine with delight when approaching a puppy hotel? How many would literally pull you by its leash to the front door? Mine does both. She loves staying at Alcala (with the exception that I don't stay with her LOL). And, most importantly, I feel comfortable boarding my dog with them, and know she will be very well cared for. For over 20 years, our family has used Alcala to house our kitties, whenever our whole family has been on vacation, or when we have done home remodeling. We have housed our cats for as little as a long weekend, up to a two month renovation. We love the fact that Alcala has a completely separate housing facility for cats, away from the dog kennels, with a TV showing wildlife and soft music. Almost all of the kitty apartments have windows with a shelf for sitting and watching the world go by, and most recently we used a "senior" apartment for our kitty that was 18 years old. Read more >
