I found Alcala Country Pet Resort based on a recommendation. Upon visiting, I really like the larger cat enclosures that allow me to keep my 2 cats together comfortably. My cats seem okay with their arrangements, and they seem well cared for during their stay. The cost of boarding has gone up significantly since I first started boarding my cats here 5 years ago, but it seems on par with other facilities. Read more >

During Thanksgiving, I booked our dogs Snoopy and HuanHuan to stay here for 5 days. Because I bought them daily lessons, my friends here send me pictures of them playing every day and write a journal about them every day. Let's not only be outside, but also learn that the children used to be so happy. I am really glad to have found such a good environment and the staff are very kind. I think in the future, if we can't take our dogs out, I will choose to board them here. Let me feel at ease and moved! Thank you to everyone here for taking care of and loving the children. My Cat Artie, loves the Cat Haven at AcalaCountry Pet Resort. It’s the nicest cat kennel in SD County. I have driven the 25 miles each way to bring all my cats here. I love that they have play time available. Read more >
