It’s now 15 minutes after my first online session was scheduled to start. No communication whatsoever from this place for my first appointment. No zoom or online meeting link, all after I gave them personal information with their “intake packet.” No answer when I call their office. I feel scammed. What a way to treat someone who is seeking help. They’ve just added more stress to my life. Stay far away!!!! Extremely unprofessional!!!!
Update: turns out, they “didn’t receive my intake packet” even though I have an email saying my document was complete. They didn’t reach out to tell me my appointment was cancelled or that they didn’t receive my packet. It seems to me that a counseling establishment like this would consider that their clients are seeking help for a reason and take more care in treating people right.
