I lost boxes

First driver was EXTREMELY rude to myself and my wife.

The team that packed my stuff damaged multiple items and carelessly threw my items into boxes.

We selected ACE because of a trusted recommendation, but didn't have the greatest experience. The man who came to do a walk-through and give us the estimate barely said a word to us while in our home, then emailed the estimate. His weight estimate was 2,000 lbs lower than the other walk-through estimates we received, so we were concerned the price might unexpectedly go up after the truck was weighed. We weren't informed that someone else's stuff (a second shipment and delivery) would be on the truck with ours, that we wouldn't know the final weight of our shipment, or that the driver would wait a week after loading our belongings before starting the drive to our new home. We were given an estimate of Jan 3-12 for delivery, which meant we had to be at our new home in another state by the 3rd just in case they arrived that day. I have been moved, professionally, over a dozen times. Without a doubt, this is the worst experience I've ever had with a mover. I would recommend avoiding them. It's difficult to pinpoint the precise issues, I think it's the accumulation of so many little issues, that when viewed in aggregate, made this the most unpleasant experience I've had. Some specifics:

1. The sales person providing the quote, disappeared after I accepted it. While I had lots of questions, later in our relationship, he never returned a call.
2. We paid a premium to have about 10 items crated in wood crates--some quite valuable. These were so poorly constructed, all but two fell apart in the moving process.
