Our inspector was very personable, so we have no issues with that -- but he neglected to inspect the front windows in the house which were obviously (we discovered, after moving in) defective; broken -- had been duct-taped together -- and twice, fell into the kitchen, frame and all, severely scratching the woodwork around them, and necessitating their being permanently fixed into the frame, requiring replacement if we ever want to open them. When we called to ask him about that, he denied missing that item. We are going through the process of having an insurance adjustor inspect them to see if our household insurance will replace them. I had 2 relatives with me during the inspection and none of us recalled his checking those windows, even though he said it is his usual practice to do so.
