A to Z Building Blocks in Eagle Mountain

Not safe place to leave your little one. Specially if they can’t talk and tell you how they are being abused. My child got bitten, teachers didn’t even notice it. I saw it on the camera and when I called them in they were not happy that I am calling in monitoring my own child on the camera. Teachers do not disciplined children some of the teachers have their own children in day care who hurt other kids and nobody stops them. First day kid death my daughter coma second day my daughter has a cut on her wrist, a third day I logged in and I saw my daughter standing in the corner by herself while exactly the same kid just came and hit her in the back. All teacher did was pull the kid away and said nothing did not even interact with the child that hits other children. They don't care about you as an employee unless your a favorite

I have been sending my kids to A to Z building blocks since my oldest was 2. I was a single mom when I started sending him to daycare and I was so nervous! I've always heard horror stories about daycare and this scared me.
Jody put me at ease by showing my the cameras that I could at work and the daily reports that they send at the end of the day.
Now married, my daughter goes to the Eagle Mountain Location and they have been nothing but great to her. All the teachers are amazing and Talk to kindly about my daught

I’m really not a “Karen”, even when it comes to my child. But I have to post in hopes it will promote improvement.
Eagle mountain location was shocking. I scheduled a tour and was excited to see a-z from the things I had read on their website. Walked in the door, first impression, terrible smell. Walls were brown and thin carpets had various stains everywhere. Receptionist desk was very unorganized. Many kids were crying and it sounded like chaos. Receptionist assured me it was because kids were just waking up from a nap but when she took me into one of the rooms my heart sank. Food everywhere, chairs upturned, kids hair and faces disheveled..kids were not happy and seemed anxious, they literally looked like I would expect orphans in an orphanage to look.teacher looked like she was in hell, as did the kids. Kids were sleeping on the floor? This was more than just “mom life”....

Terrible Daycare! Do not put your child here! My son attended for months and he never learned any of his colors, numbers, letters, or shapes. I would watch the camera and he would just play all day. I watched him be bullied by other children and the staff never did anything. There were many times I would pick up my son and he would have a bump or scratch, and they hadn’t called or kept any record. When I would ask what had happened no one knew. They would claim the teacher in the morning wasn’t there so they don’t know. I arrived to pick up my son multiple times to see “teachers” physically restraining children. They claim that they do potty training, I ask them repeatedly how it was going and they would always say “he doesn’t want to” so they never did anything for potty training. They lost multiple coats and sweaters and were bothered when I asked about them. Staff was rude, and...

We have a toddler and infant in A to Z (American Fork location) and we absolutely love it. We get updates throughout the day, and we can check in with the cameras any time. The kids get to see the same teachers every week and the teachers really get to know and love our kids. We really love this daycare.

I first want to give a disclaimer that this review does not reflect how we feel toward the teachers of this facility as most of the teachers have been a joy to work with and have been phenomenal with my child.

We initially went to Jody requesting a reduced rate or a temporary suspension after pulling our child from the facility as a result of COVID-19. Unfortunately our situation was faced with unemployment from my ex and we have a number of high risk family members that prompt our family to social distance and quarantine.
