The Learning Tree South Lyon

The Learning Tree South Lyon provides an exceptionally amazing environment for the families in their care. I say "families" and not simply "children" because they really go above and beyond to get to know the children and their parents, to make sure parents know what's going on each day, and to provide curriculum and resources that help all of us at daycare and at home. We've loved every teacher our child has had, from the Toddler Room to Pre-K to Preschool (shoutout to Ms. Tay, Ms. Jordyn, Ms. Abby, Ms. Molly, and Ms. Jessica), and it's very clear that the teachers and administrators at The Learning Tree care deeply about each and every child and family. It has been wonderful to watch our child thrive at the Learning Tree South Lyon, and to know that she's safe, well cared for, and given great opportunities to learn and grow every day.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!! This place is filthy!!! The last time I went to pick up my daughter there was no instructor in the room with the kids they were all in another room walking around barefoot. When I asked what's going on the director informed me this was no big deal they often do this, so I informed her that my daughter would not be back. They then proceeded to charge me for a month of daycare I never received. They're neglectful and dirty I recommend taking your kids anywhere else!!!! Their response says that my daughter never went there which is a blatant lie! They're just trying to invalidate my review like they do with all of their bad reviews 🤷🏻‍♀️ all the more reasons not to take your children here!!! If my daughter never went there why am I still paying you 🤔🤔🤔 what a joke!!!

Miss Abby is an amazing Pre Kindergarten teacher. When I pick up my child she stops and provides a detailed update of his day, as if he were her only student. Her calmness allows her to have clarity throughout the chaotic day. She can see beyond the chaos to the individual needs of each child. She is truly a great teacher!

We love Miss Jordyn in the preschool classroom. She does so many fun activities with the kids, decorates the class room and you can tell she truly cares about what she does everyday. We were so happy that our daughter had the opportunity to be in miss Jordyns class and hopefully she sticks around for a few years to teach our son as well!

We love Miss Jordyn! She cares about each kiddo in her class and greets us each morning with a positive attitude and warm welcome. She plans out awesome activities based on each week’s theme and each day’s story, and I know my son is learning so much thanks to her. I’m always so excited when she sends photos through the app. My son can’t wait to tell me all about what he learned that day, and thanks to her notes and photos, I can ask him questions and engage with him more about his day. Miss Jordyn is sweet, kind and an awesome teacher!
