I highly recommend any new mama take their baby to see Susie. It is so important that babies have oral functional therapy following a tongue tie release. The release itself is just the tip of the iceberg, and babies really need therapy for their mouth and body as well! Prior to seeing Susie, my son had difficulty breastfeeding and taking a pacifier. His body was tense and he was developing a flat spot on his head. She taught me strategies and exercises to do with his mouth that significantly improved his breastfeeding skills and he is now able to take a pacifier! She also did some body work and taught me how to stretch his body and place him in different positions. I’m happy to report that his body is much looser and his head is now round. He won’t even up needing a helmet thanks to her work! I’m so thankful that I found Susie! 10/10 recommend!

My son had tonsils that were so swollen, they touched. They were consistently like that almost from birth. When his nose would get stuffy, he couldn’t breathe. I was in constant panic. Through Susie and her super simple daily exercises, I’m AMAZED that my boys tonsils reduced. I am flabbergasted. He was like that for 7 years and a few months with Susie reduced them to normal size. I honestly could cry from the joy and relief of knowing my son can breathe easily now. Thank you, Susie!!!!!!

I can't say enough about the incredible support and care I received from Susie, both before and after my tongue tie and lip tie release. As an MFT and speech therapist, Susie was exceptionally knowledgeable and flexible with scheduling, which made the whole process much easier. She thoroughly educated me on the exercises, stretches, what to expect, and what we could do to maximize my results. Her daily check-ins and aftercare guidance were invaluable in ensuring the best possible outcomes, and I feel so much improvement in my function, sinus issues, clenching, grinding, muscle tightness, speech and much more. I highly recommend Susie for anyone considering a similar procedure – her expertise and dedication make all the difference!

Both my kids were referred to Susie by our orthodontist for myofunctional speech therapy post tongue tie clipping. She was so responsive after the tongue tie clipping making sure the tongue healed well and advising me through the recovery process. She did a great job with the speech therapy always having new exercises or skills to work on. I felt like she was very organized with a clear path to complete speech therapy. Would highly recommend Susie for myofunctional speech therapy!

Susie is a wonderful therapist. She is kind and patient. She makes sure the parents feel comfortable and understand the exercises that are assigned. She makes herself available when needed if there are any questions regarding the exercises. She is a very knowledgeable clinician. As a speech therapist myself, I have learned so much about myo from Susie while going through this type of therapy with my daughter!

Miss Susie has done wonders for my daughter with the myofunctional therapy to correct tongue thrusting we didn’t even know she had. After a visit with Miss Susie, we saw what impact it would have on her mouth health. Miss Susie not only explained but provided visual examples of the impact and the alternative to no therapy was plain scary. Had my daughter not done these therapies, she would have been back in braces in no time. Not only did the therapy eradicate the tongue thrusting, but it also changed her look. Her upper lip is visibly fuller, but that is only one side benefit of correcting tongue thrusting. My daughter also had severe issues swallowing pills. After her 4 wisdom teeth removal she was chugging liquid Tylenol and Ibuprofen since she could never swallow a pill. Towards the end of her treatment my daughter asked for a pill over a liquid Tylenol. She swallowed the pill...

In addition to palate expansion he’s receiving with an airway centric dentist we also learned about the benefits of myofunctional therapy. She’s been so helpful and effective! Susie did a full analysis on him and identified areas we would work on. We got to work right away with various therapies to address his tongue posture. A few months in and he is nasal breathing while sleeping, eating and drinking better and resting his tongue where it needs to be. Don’t wait on myofunctional therapy. Susie is patient but manages our son so well during our sessions. Can’t recommend her enough.

Susie is the most caring provider anyone could ask for. She was so welcoming on the initial phone call when I needed to schedule, and she eased my mind about my child’s treatments. She is fantastic at everything she does from scheduling, to compassion, to treatments, to availability at any time day or night. She calmed every concern I had, and my child is thriving because of Susie.

Wanted to share that at daughter's orthodontist appointment last week, her orthodontist was incredibly impressed with the progress she has made. They had given her an ultimatum that if she hadn't improved her tongue issues via therapy by this appointment, they would install an invasive tongue tamer/guard to 'correct' her swallow and tongue position. After looking at her bite, swallow and tongue position, her orthodontist said to us, “This is one of the first times I’ve ever seen therapy work for this.” He looked absolutely shocked. I was shocked, too - that it hadn’t worked for any of his patients in the past!! He was also so impressed with my daughter's diligence in her exercises. THANK YOU so much for your help in this area.
